Financial education is one thing that was missing from our own educational experiences.
We had friends and family that did everything right, including attending college, but were worse off. Even with an education they were crippled by student loan debt or working multiple jobs because they never learned the money skills that truly matter.
Learning financial education early, gives students the knowledge they won’t learn in traditional education
Focusing on subjects like saving, investing, credit and taxes. These topics were non-existent in the neighborhoods that we were from. We are changing that by becoming the resource that we never had.
